Great brew and wine was simply not something I likened to New Zealand.

I don't know why.

I think it returns to living in London, and our Kiwi companions could be spotted drinking Stein lager, a diluted reason for a brew. I figure that resembles saying that Fosters is an indication of the lager in Australia, or Budweiser in the US.

What's more, wine?

Well that just comes down to me being a wine big talker and feeling that no one but Australia can create brilliant wines.

Better believe it. well now I have called horse crap on myself for that one.

When visiting Auckland, we very suggest that you jump out for the day to the edges of the city and visit several wineries and bottling works to test a portion of the great Kiwi drop. (info by hull taxi)

WEST BROOK WINE

In the wake of topping off on some great tucker, we bounced in the vehicle and drove through the valleys to look at West brook Winery, a boutique family-possessed winery, built up in 1935.

West Brook have won different honors for their wines.

We met with Susan Iv icevich, the warm and benevolent co-proprietor and talked to her about the winery and how it was begun by her better half's Croatian family. The winery was called West Brook because of its area close to a rivulet, where the first vineyard once stood.

They, obviously, wanted to change the name once they moved.

The West Brook basement entryway looks over a pure duck lake and terraced excursion territory to a great many rows of our Waimauku vines. It is a pleasant setting to sit and become more acquainted with one of West Brook's honor winning containers of wine and a cookout lunch .(info by minibus hire hull)

Susan took us through the choice of wines, showing us a little about how the wines are created and sharing accounts of her family and grand kids, over the testing of some fine reds and whites.

It was difficult to pick one to bring home with, however we settled on a container of 2008 Reserve Pinot Noir, which sits on our rack here at home sitting tight for that extraordinary event where Mummy and Daddy can simply sit and loosen up over a pleasant coffee shop together, simply both of us.
